A hallway changes through the week. Two coats one day, four the next, a bag and a scarf by Friday — and a fixed row of hooks is either standing half empty or hopelessly overloaded.

This rack answers that with hooks that move along the rail, so the spacing follows whatever you are actually hanging. Above them sits a narrow 18mm slot for the things that usually have nowhere to go: a postcard, a small frame, a book left mid-read. Coats and towels below, the day's odds and ends above.

The rail pairs rubber wood with aluminium in black — warm grain against a cool, matte metal edge. At 40cm it is deliberately compact, sized for the wall beside a door or the gap between a window and a corner rather than a full run of hallway.
