Some rooms are correct and still slightly cold. Everything is well chosen, the palette holds together, and yet nothing in the space is there purely for pleasure — there is no moment of lightness to soften all that good judgement.
This pendant is that moment. Butterflies rise through the fixture as though caught mid-flight, so the light has movement in it even when the room is still. Hung above a bedside, a hallway or the end of a dining table, it draws the eye upward and gives the ceiling something to say. Choose a single head where you want restraint, or a double where the gesture can be larger.
The forms are cut and shaped in wrought iron and finished in gold, which catches the light along each edge rather than across a flat surface — the effect is warm and shifting instead of brassy. It is decorative by intention, but the metalwork is fine enough that it reads as jewellery for a room rather than as ornament.
