This page explains how payments work at Kanso Luxe: what we accept, what currency you'll be charged in, and how your card details are handled. If anything here isn't clear, email us at support@kansoluxe.com.
Payment methods we accept
You can pay using:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- Maestro
- American Express
- Discover
- Diners Club
- Union Pay
- PayPal
- Klarna
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- Shop Pay
The same methods appear as icons at the bottom of every page. The definitive list for your order is the one shown at checkout — available methods can vary by country and by device.
Currency and pricing
Our prices are set in pounds sterling (GBP). If you're shopping from outside the United Kingdom, prices may be shown in your local currency, converted at the rate in effect at the time. The currency you will actually be charged in is confirmed at checkout, before you pay.
Your bank or card issuer may add its own currency conversion or international transaction fee. That charge comes from them rather than from us, and we have no visibility of it.
Delivery costs are set out in our Shipping Policy and shown again at checkout. You will see the full amount you are paying, including delivery, before you confirm your order.
When you are charged
Payment is taken through the checkout at the point you place your order, and an order confirmation is emailed to you straight afterwards. If we are unable to fulfil your order, we refund it in full — see our Return & Refund Policy.
How your payment is protected
kansoluxe.com is served over HTTPS. Your connection to the site is encrypted using TLS, the current standard that replaced SSL, which means the information you enter — including your card details — is scrambled in transit rather than sent in readable form. You can check this for yourself: your browser will show a padlock in the address bar, and the address will begin with “https://”.
Payments are processed through Shopify's checkout, which is certified to PCI DSS Level 1. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard is the security standard the card networks require of organisations that handle cardholder data; it exists to reduce card fraud by tightening the controls around how that data is handled and transmitted.
What we can and cannot see
We never see your full card number. It goes directly to the payment processor and is not accessible to us at any point. Once an order is complete, what we can see is your billing address, your delivery address, your order details, and the last four digits of your card.
We do not store card details ourselves, and we cannot take a payment by email or over the phone. If you ever receive a message claiming to be from Kanso Luxe and asking for card details, it did not come from us — please forward it to support@kansoluxe.com.
How we handle the personal information we do hold is set out in our Privacy Policy. If you want to limit how your data is used for advertising, see Your Privacy Choices.
If a payment does not go through
Declined payments almost always come from your bank rather than from us, and we are not told the reason. Common causes are a billing address mismatch, a card limit, or a routine fraud check. You can try again, use a different method, or contact your bank.
You may see a pending authorisation on your statement for an order that did not complete. That is not a charge, and it usually clears within a few working days depending on your bank.
Order verification
We may cancel and refund an order if a payment cannot be verified, or if the billing and delivery details do not stand up to a routine check. If that happens to your order and you believe it shouldn't have, email us and we will look into it.
